Metro Fiber Connectivity (DAR, MOROGORO, ARUSHA, and MWANZA) is a fibre ring, which is designed to transport capacity on end-to-end and end to multiple ends basis. It is interconnected with Submarine Landing stations (EASSy & SEACOM) and also the NICTBB, telecom operators, ISPs and some corporate end users.

    • It is designed in collapsed ring module in case of cable cut it will automatically re-route traffic to opposite direction hence providing total resilience of its own Multiple Service Transport Protocol (MSTP)
    • It supports standard TDM, IP over SDH services with basic unit from E1 to STM-64 Capacity level.
    • Currently maximum bandwidth for lease is STM-16 (2.5Gbps)
    • Capacity for the whole MSTP network is 5G for fully protected service and 20G for unprotected service.
